We have a cat. Well, I should say it's the kids cat. Most of the time they do take care of him. This is our second cat. We said goodbye to an ill cat a few years ago. During her more youthful - well years, she fancied using our basement rug as her litter box. No one seemed to smell that horrible cat urine smell but me. Perhaps she was scared or did not like the smell of the basement? She was free to roam the house but we kept her litter box in the basement. Now our second cat doesn't seem to have this problem, but every time I put a new throw rug down, he has to mark it with his bodily waste. I know it is awful. I have thrown out those rugs, and stopped trying to win!  Along came Comfort Zone ®   with Feliway ®. Our new carpet! Glad  Comfort Zone diffuser is there  to calm him! We had new carpet put in our family room and new couches too, all I could think about was the cat marking it. We waited until the kids were older to replace the family room...
