Just looking at the cover of this book, I imagine I can feel the heat coming from the kitchen as I near the screen door, maybe an afternoon plate of cookies is on the table? When I viewed the trailer I felt comfort like my own family gives me, like memories of sunny, hot days where you just want to be still it's so hot or head to a body of water to cool off. Country life and country living I suppose I long for, not that I grew up in the country, but many a times we visited relatives that lived on a farm and those are special memories with family. The screen doors creaking open and slamming shut, the open windows that let a slight breeze in through the quiet, dark house where everyone was kinda of in slow motion because it was so hot. Those are memories of my grandparents lifestyle, and I miss that.
