Around our house and neighborhood, fire pit nights and S'mores are fun times! We  have a big Bonn fire the last night of our family vacation. Everyone cooks their own  hot dogs, Mountain Pies, and S'mores.   I find that unwrapping all the ingredients for S'mores and putting them in separate bowls makes it a little easier to manage the cooking and assembling of S'mores, or use paper food boats for individual grab and go!  personal s'mores boats We like the original S'mores version of; Graham cracker, marshmallow, and Hershey's Chocolate Bars. fresh and hot out of the oven You can get creative and add sliced strawberries, bananas, or apples, add a scoop of your favorite ice cream or try the flavored marshmallows available in chocolate and strawberry.   The rain brought us indoors for our S'mores making.  We were glad for the rain after days of really hot weather!  The girls had a good time making the S'mores ...

My shopping trips to CVS and Target have been sparse the past two weeks. Summer activities seem to be keeping us busy!  I finally made it to Target today,  girls in tow. We found some good sales, and bonus packs of products.  This bonus pack of Bio True contact solution has a 2oz travel size bottle, free travel bag, and $45 in savings inside the box. My  youngest spotted this package. I used a $2.00 coupon off the sale price of $8.79. Crest toothpaste is on clearance for $2.44 and comes with a bonus travel size. I used a coupon for $1.00 off two packages.( I bought two) Kotex U packages are are on sale, these are $2.99 and have a wrist let, and tin inside with four liners inside. I used a $1.00 coupon.  This year the  fair has moved to Columbus, New Jersey on Route 206 near the Columbus Market. The grounds are beautiful, well laid out, and full of things to see and do!  $10.00 gets you parking and admission to the fair. (carload price, not per person) There are amusements, animals, food, county information,vendors selling things,displays of 4H crafts, and tractors! The county government has several spaces of  information from safety to programs for residents.There are also other tables from various organizations. There are magnets, pencils, pens, mouse pads, coloring books, and more all for free! Most every table has a giveaway! Stock up on pencils for back to school while you stroll through the tents.  The coloring books, and activity books available for free from these information tables are great to keep for kids to do on car trips.  The county library has a mobile library there and other handouts for kids to take home.
