I'm taking advantage of the cooler weather and cleaning out extra stuff in my garage and donating it to my local Goodwill Store. I've found three locations of Goodwill Stores that I can donate stuff too. I ask for a tax receipt too. It takes just seconds to get a tax receipt once you have put in your name and address on your first visit. I also love to look around the store after I've donated my goods. The first place I shop is the housewares. Those old dishes and cookware are my favs, then I'm off to look at old Christmas decorations.  What's your favorite thing to look at in GoodWill? When the first iPhone was released years ago, my daughter at her young age wanted to stand on line to be the first to get one. She is her father's daughter in that respect for keeping up with technology. So, we stood on line, and she bought the phone, then I worried. She did fine with taking care of the phone, I was another story. Within the first week of owning an iPhone, and this was years after my daughter bought hers, I dropped mine in the drive away. What is your favorite party food? Every Fall we attended a harvest festival starting with an open house at a releative that lived in the town of the festival.  There were homemade desserts of gingerbread, pies, and cookies. There was all kinds of foods to dip into French Onion Dip. I think this was my first encounter with this French Onion dip. It's a favorite in my husband's family. Pasta dishes are not a hit at my family dinner table. I tend to cook a meal of spaghetti now and then, but I think only the Mr. and I are sitting at the dinner table that night. I made rigatoni a few nights ago, browned some organic ground beef and topped it with organic sauce. It still seemed a bit flat to me, the meal was a tad on the blah side.
