GIVEAWAY: Prize pack from the film THE 33. In theaters on 11/13/15

Miners trapped 69 days beneath the earth. Reads like a news announcement in your local paper. Well, it was and now their story is being told in a film coming to a theater near you Friday November 13, 2105. Filmed with the cooperation of the miners and their families. This film documents the lives of the  33 men  in the  Chilean  mine.  Their faith, will, and love of and for their families kept them alive during the 69 days waiting to be rescued.    From Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures comes the untold true story of “The 33.”  In 2010, the eyes of the world turned to Chile, where 33 miners had been buried alive by the catastrophic collapse of a 100-year-old gold and copper mine. Over the next 69 days, an international team worked night and day in a desperate attempt to rescue the trapped men as their families and friends, as well as millions of people globally, waited and watched anxiously for any sign of hope.  But 200 stories beneath the surface, in the suffocating heat

Pine Brothers throat drops Giveaway!

The leaves are falling, it's a rainy day, and it's a cozy day to stay inside. Ahh, but there are errands to do, and places to go. I usually grab a bottle of water heading out the door, but I don't always remember to. So, there I am in the car, needing some relief... I'm not a big fan of mints or chewing gum, but a throat drop I'm all for. I don't like those hard throat drops that everyone near you can smell-that strong menthol scent. Plus they just are too strong for my well being! Pine Brothers Throat Drops are  all natural, vegan and gluten-free.  Pine Bros. Throat Drops are soft-and a little hard- they call it softish. Their throat drops are smooth, easy on my tummy, no strong scents, natural flavors, and taste good. Do you ever get that tickle in your throat, like in a quiet place? That's the worst-trying to be quiet in a quiet place. I'd be digging through my purse for anything to quiet that cough. Pine Bros. Puck to the rescue. Toteable, refillable

MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be in Philadelphia November 17-29, and Yes, tickets are on sale NOW!

A long time favorite story in our house is Matilda, and even now we still catch a few minutes of it here and there searching channels. A great story of a little girl who becomes and avid reader, enough so she can let her teacher-Miss Honey adopt her right at the moment her parents and brother are on the run from the officials since Matilda's dad does some shady car business dealings. The dark, dreary school Matilda attends is headmastered by Mrs. Trunchbull, who happens to be Miss Honey's Aunt. The headmaster is very mean and doesn't even like children. Matilda finds her way to bring laughter and fun to the classroom at Miss Trunchbull's expense. There are flying children, newts in her drinking water, a boy that eats too much cake, and a host of other exciting events.  Miss Honey is a wonderful teacher and Matilda and she become special friends trying to trick Mrs. Trunchbull many times at school and at her home.  Matilda is coming to Kimmel Center's Academy of Mu
