GRAMMY nominated artist David Gray tenth studio album, Mutineers is set to be released on June 17, 2014.

GRAMMY nominated artist David Gray tenth studio album, Mutineers is set to be released on June 17, 2014. You can pre-order on itunes and amazon now.

I had a preview listen to the album and it has a nice smooth sound. I wasn't really familiar with David Gray but his music and voice are really relaxing. His voice is crisp, clear, and deep. A sound for those days your feeling rushed, need to relax, or just feel like having some inspiration. His songs are easy to listen to and easy to feel the emotion in the song, have a listen for yourself:

"David Gray has established himself as one of the UK’s leading music artists both at home and overseas. Gray’s commercial success is also backed up by a critical consensus and countless accolades. His 2009 release Draw The Line was met with critical praise and garnered the artist a series of high profile television appearances, as well as two sold out tours of the US. Foundling, Gray's 9th studio album picked up where Draw the Line left off and created a new chapter of lush, soulful songs that found the artist returning to his folk music roots. Foundling debuted at #9 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, marking Gray's highest release position of his career and was met with critical praise by Entertainment Weekly who described it as “all warm arrangements and real emotion,” while USA Today said “ ‘A Moment Changes Everything’ is his most infectious single since 2000's ‘Babylon.’ "

CINDERELLA opens in theaters March 13, 2015

The story of “Cinderella” follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when Ella’s father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella, Ella could easily begin to lose hope. Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother’s dying words and to “have courage and be kind.” She will not give in to despair nor despise those who mistreat her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. It appears her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, raising Ella’s hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit (Richard Madden). Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. But, as in all good fairy tales, help is at hand, and a kindly beggar woman (Helena Bonham-Carter) steps forward and – armed with a pumpkin and a few mice – changes Cinderella’s life forever.

A live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, “Cinderella” brings to life the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece as fully-realized characters in a visually dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation.

Directed by Academy Award®-nominee Kenneth Branagh (“Thor,” “Hamlet”) and starring Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett (“Blue Jasmine,” “Elizabeth”), Lily James (“Downton Abbey”), Richard Madden (“Game of Thrones”) and Academy Award-nominee Helena Bonham-Carter (“The King’s Speech,” “Alice in Wonderland”), “Cinderella” is produced by Simon Kinberg (“X-Men: Days of Future Past,” “Elysium”), Allison Shearmur (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) and David Barron (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”). The screenplay is by Chris Weitz (“About a Boy,” “The Golden Compass”).

Do you need a night out? Go see MOMS' NIGHT OUT MOVIE in theaters now, you'll laugh, cry, and laugh some more!

Disclosure: I received handouts, a movie gift card, and a restaurant gift card for this post. The comments and views are my own.

Before I went to the movie, I flooded the kitchen. No kidding.

Today was the day I had planned to go out to lunch and see this movie with a few of my girlfriends. About a half hour before I was to leave and pick them up, I thought I'd wash the dishes, unload and load the dishwasher so when I came home from the movie the kitchen would be somewhat clean. I turned on the water, put the stopper in, and went outside. Why I did not turn off the water I don't know!!! I remember thinking I need to turn the water off, and I thought I did, but obviously I didn't. I was outside taking my good ole time watering the plants!

When I came back inside and saw the water spilling out of the sink, over the counter top I yelled for my husband to help me, (glad he was home working), after the clean up, the shop vac, and the fan to dry out the wood floor, I looked at him and said I have to leave now-well that was a blank look from him..., but I think he understood.

We made it to lunch, the movie, and back home. The movie was really great. It was funny, realistic, and heartwarming. I'd watch it over and over again any day.

Moms' Night Out is in theaters now! The film is a family comedy about four moms scheduling a night out. What could go wrong? Everything! The film features star names of Sarah Drew (Grey's Anatomy), Sean Astin (The Lord of The Rings), and Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond, The Middle), and Trace Adkins.

Plan a Moms' Night Out with your girlfriends with movie fun starting with dinner, games, and fun at your house.
Invite guest to come over for party time with food before you all head to the theater Or, go to a nice restaurant all together before the show and eat your own dinner! No sharing or cutting up food!!! No trips to the bathroom ten times!

We planned a day time trip to see the film since night times were busy with sports and the kids coming home from school. Our first stop was a local dinner, but it's more like a big restaurant, after that we headed to the theater in the next town.

Here's a look at the mess I left in the kitchen and finally had put back into the cupboard that night after the flood. I had to throw away a bunch of baking supplies that got wet.

I was sent some goodies from MOM SELECT to share with friends in celebration of Moms' Night Out Movie:

At home food ideas:
Wraps, dips, and veggie trays are easy to prepare or pickup at your local grocery store.

Beverage ideas for your party night:

Moms' Night Out Relaxer:
2 1/2 oz Orange juice
1 oz lime juice
5 oz lemon lime soda
1 lime wedge

combine lemon lime soda, Orange juice, and lime juice into shaker

shake all together and put in chilled highball glass
garnish with lime wedge
toast and enjoy.

Let everyone share why they need a Moms' night out:

Fill in the blank fun:
"I need a Moms' Night Out________________,"
share on social media with #NMNO14 and #MNOMovie

ha ha, I needed a day out after the flood of the morning!

THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY trailer is here! See it now and images from the film are here too!

In DreamWorks Pictures’ “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” the opening of a new Indian restaurant in the south of France, next to a famous Michelin starred eatery, is nearly cause for an all-out war between the two establishments until Le Saule Pleureur’s icy proprietress Madame Mallory recognizes her rival’s undeniable brilliance for preparing masterful meals.

take a look at the trailer, I'd be happy to read the book, it looks so good! But hey, it's so much more real to see the film in the theater right!
Mark your calendar for the film to be in a theater near you on August 8, 2014.

In “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is a culinary ingénue with the gastronomic equivalent of perfect pitch. Displaced from their native India, the Kadam family, led by Papa (Om Puri), settles in the quaint village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val in the south of France. Filled with charm, it is both picturesque and elegant – the ideal place to settle down and open an Indian restaurant, the Maison Mumbai. That is, until the chilly chef proprietress of Le Saule Pleureur, a Michelin starred, classical French restaurant run by Madame Mallory (Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren), gets wind of it. Her icy protests against the new Indian restaurant a hundred feet from her own escalate to all out war between the two establishments – until Hassan’s passion for French haute cuisine and for Mme. Mallory’s enchanting sous chef, Marguerite (Charlotte Le Bon), combine with his mysteriously delicious talent to weave magic between their two cultures and imbue Saint-Antonin with the flavors of life that even Mme. Mallory cannot ignore. At first Mme. Mallory's culinary rival, she eventually recognizes Hassan's gift as a chef and takes him under her wing.

“The Hundred-Foot Journey” abounds with flavors that burst across the tongue. A stimulating triumph over exile, blossoming with passion and heart, with marjoram and madras, it is a portrayal of two worlds colliding and one boy’s drive to find the comfort of home, in every pot, wherever he may be.

Directed by Lasse Hallström, and starring Academy Award-winner Helen Mirren, “The Hundred-Foot Journey” is produced by Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey and Juliet Blake. The executive producers are Caroline Hewitt and Carla Gardini. The screenplay is written by Steven Knight, based on the novel “The Hundred-Foot Journey” by Richard C. Morais.

Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another.

But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
