It's true! A new Christian Musical will be airing on Netflix March 26, 2021. " A WEEK AWAY " is a first of it's kind for Netflix. Watch the faith based musical starting 3/26/2021. Have a listen to the soundtrack  A great way to end the week and start the Spring Weekend. Like, who doesn't love camp. I sure do. My sister and I went to Church Camp often in our youth. We might have been young, and maybe homesick now and then, but the strength we gained in our faith has shaped our lives today.  In fact my husband I have a Summer Cottage at a Church Camp, we spend most of our Summer there year after year. I can't say our camp is as musical as  "A WEEK AWAY" , but faith is always present at the camps we attend.  In the film "A WEEK AWAY" a troubled teen faces juvinelle detention for his numerous bad doings...by grace he has a family that offers to take him to Summer Camp with them.   Will and Avery are the key characters. Along with camp "r...

Share Bible Verses, Images, and Hope all from Christian Quotes

Those friendly, uplifting quotes I see all over Social Media usually I can get something positive out of the little saying. A recent email I read was about a Christian site that offers quotes, images, and devotions.  So, I clicked the link and found loads of quotes with images, and more text below the image if you want to read more about the quote/verse. Some days you might need encouragement or a Friend needs uplifting, or maybe its a great Spring day and you want to share that with your Friends.  You can even get a daily quote sent to your messenger in Facebook if you want to sign up for that. The site is a definite bookmark and Facebook like for me.  Here's a bit about the web site: ChristianQuotes.info  has over 10,000 Christian quotes that are categorized by Bible, Author and Topic. The inspirational website has a new devotional each day around the daily quote. It also has thousands of images perfect for sharing on Facebook. Some of the most read...

Book giveaway: NOURISHED, A search for Health, Happiness, and a FullNight's Sleep.

One particular day in the Fall of 2009, I sat down at our Kitchen Table with my laptop and said to my husband I want to start a blog. He asked what was I going to write about. I sat there and looked at our kitchen table and said-all this stuff on the table, and so the blog began. But what would I call the blog? There was a pile of newspapers/coupons/advertisements,school papers, recipes, mail, magazines, sunglasses, keys, books, and who knows what else buried in those piles on the table. I like to shop, I like to clip coupons, I like to find special offers, free samples, new products, and go to the mall. So, that's what I started to write about, all those piles of stuff on the table. That's also how I came up with the name for this blog- Kitchen Table.   I used to have a tablecloth for every season, so hence, I change the background with every season or holiday. It's sort of like this blog is my kitchen table where I write about life and stuff. Over the years of being homeroom...
