The carnivals are arriving in towns as the school year comes to an end and Summer vacation begins. I still love to see the trailers full of neatly stacked pieces of carnival rides, traveling the highways, off to another town to set up and tear down one more time. That description reminds me of a song...   The memories of warm nights, bright lights, and all the thrills of flying through the sky on a wonder of rides is the highlight of many of Summer vacations. As it is for June . June, not the month, but the girl's name in Wonder Park, builds a roller coaster ride, but the ride comes to a stop when things get out of control and damage is done to the neighborhood. I gotta say her room is pretty darn cool looking. She has a great imagination and talent to dream big. How was your weekend? I went to the Philadelphia Flower Show on Saturday with my husband and youngest daughter. It was really fantastic, but so crowded. I was ready for a cold drink and lunch/dinner by the end of the afternoon. We headed to Whalburgers Restaurant in Philadelphia. You know, the famous Whalberg brothers, Donny, Paul, and Mark from their music, movies, television shows, and restaurants. And guess what-I watched a movie staring Mark Whalberg this weekend also. the mr. takes a selfie with the brothers at Whalburgers By Sunday night the hubs and I were ready for some living room time on the couch with a movie, I had been waiting a few days to watch a certain film, but thought I'd wait to the Mr. was available. The Teen Titans are noticing that all the super heroes. like themselves are stars in movies, so hey, why can't Teen Titans go to Hollywood, find a producer, and star in their own film? On June 16, 2018 Grease celebrates it's 40th year since the day the film became famous. The Summer love of Sandy and Johnny...was ending, so they thought until Sandy shows up at Johnny's school. Do you remember your dreams? Once in a while something I see during the day sparks that memory of a dream I had the night before but had no memory of it until that spark. I just give it a laugh and say wow, that was weird. In this film, based on The New York Times  best-selling book and is a recipient of the Dove Foundation seal of approval for ages 12+;  SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME, Debbie sees a man at the shelter where she volunteers- from her dream. This man becomes her mission- to be kind and helpful to him.  Her husband, Ron has joined her at the shelter serving food and he is apprehensive of being at the shelter as he is worried about germs and the people that come to the shelter. I think it's so much easier to be kind to people than being mean.
