Making you student feel safe, ready and relaxed this school year involves talking to them about the new year, take them shopping with you, list in hand. Sending the kids to school with all the necessary supplies is a way to help them feel they fit into the flow of other students. Make sure they are not feeling pressured into things they are not comfortable with by communicating with your kids often, daily.

Become an involved parent in school activities, as a parent get to know the other parents and students your child interacts with.
