The Biblical Genealogy Chart giveaway

I enjoy researching my family genealogy through documents, photographs, web sites, and family stories. I think it's so neat to see where our relatives came from, what ship they traveled on to come to America, and who served in the early years of defense.  Have you thought about all those relatives that came before the dates research allows us to study? Like who were Adam and Eve's children? My mom told her three children that when it comes time to name our babies, to get their names from the Bible. Good advice. I picked Elizabeth and Hannah for my girl's names. The Biblical Genealogy Chart begins with Adam and ends with Jesus. 1900 A.D. through 100 B.C.  That's a lot of names to choose from for your babies!   A few Features of The Biblical Genealogy Chart: The chart is printed on Astroparch Sand Paper.  Size 11x17 inches and is suitable for framing or laminating. Timeline is Adam through Jesus. Books of the Bible listing. Dating Before Christ to Anno Domini (B.C to ...

Is Dollar Tree the new Five and Dime store?

I'm a fan of Dollar Tree, for decorations that is...I bought this bunny garland and the gift bags at DT. This is a first for me-decorating my mantel with gift bags. Not quite decorations, buy I'll go with it this year. We are moving to a new place, and I've been packing holiday decorations into totes.  So I put the bags on the mantel. But the real reason is... We have a cat. Did I mention we have a cat. A cat that will find a way to get himself into a box, bag, or tote. In his younger days he would jump up onto the mantel. Two for one task done, decorated mantel and out of reach of the feline. I have fond memories of the Five and Dime store in the town my grandmother lived.  My sister and I would walk to the store from her house and pick out a few things we had to have. I bought my Grandmother this can opener on one of those shopping trips. When she passed away and we were cleaning out her house, I claimed my gift back. It's tucked away in my dish cupboar...

Butterbean’s Café: Let’s Get Cooking DVD giveaway

My niece is a fan of the show Butterbean’s Café. So much so that her parents turned the family kitchen into a café style birthday party for her. She has twin sisters that love to mix, stir, and bake in the kitchen too. So, of course when the email of this darling kit was in my in box-  I showed my Sister in Law this photo... and she shared these photos with me...the three sisters, and yes,her younger sisters are twins!  Did you know that Butterbean's Cafe had the highest rated Nickelodeon preschool launch since "Paw Patrol" in 2003 and ranked among the top 5 shows for kids ages 2-5 in 2019.  The DVD includes 8 yummy episodes and four recipes for families to enjoy inspired by the show. I n  Butterbean’s Café: Let’s Get Cooking  the kids help Butterbean with her yummy parfaits and tasty quiche that just happen to outdo Ms. Marmalady. THE WAY BACK movie night giveaway.

‘ The Way Back ’ will be in theaters beginning March 6, 2020. A thought from the film: We can't go back to the past, but we can move forward. I just happen to have two Fandango tickets to giveaway for this film   starring Ben Affleck, but first a bit about the film: Jack Cunningham (portrayed by Ben Affleck ) is struggling with addiction when a priest offers him the job of a basketball coach position at his (Jack's)  former high school.  Jack reluctantly accepts the job. During his coaching he finds a glimmer of hope for his future and a second chance to make his life positive. Did Jack play basketball in college? Professional? or did he take a different path after high school?  Mistakes, wrong turns, wrong crowds, and wrong decisions can weigh us down that keep us from grace. We become stuck, reluctant, and unable to move forward when the past is heavy on our soul. Move forward and don't sit in the past.   Find your peace. Find your faith ...

The Addams Family and Addams Family Values - 2 Movie Collection GIVEAWAY

Why does the spelling of the ADDAMS family have two D's? I was just reading the cover for the 2 Movie Collection of THE ADDAMS FAMILY and wondered what's up with that extra D. I could look it up-I know but I'll just keep wondering, it's more creepy that way. I watched the Addams Family television show more years ago than Uncle Fester was in (or is it at) the Bermuda Triangle. Somehow I've aged but the Addams Family still looks the same as I remember their unique features and personalities: Creepy, Spooky, Kooky, and ooky. The first disc: The Addams Family Gomez and Morticia get to party planning for Uncle Fester's welcome home celebration.  Wednesday fine tunes her Electric Chair for party fun while her brother, Pugsly gets the jolts each test run Wednesday gives the chair. With the party planning in full swing, Thing notices that Fester just doesn't seem his usual creepy self. Has anyone else noticed? Doesn't seem to be. Thing is on the p...

A Wonderful giveaway with the release of WONDER PARK Blu-ray combo pack and digital.

The carnivals are arriving in towns as the school year comes to an end and Summer vacation begins. I still love to see the trailers full of neatly stacked pieces of carnival rides, traveling the highways, off to another town to set up and tear down one more time. That description reminds me of a song...   The memories of warm nights, bright lights, and all the thrills of flying through the sky on a wonder of rides is the highlight of many of Summer vacations. As it is for June . June, not the month, but the girl's name in Wonder Park, builds a roller coaster ride, but the ride comes to a stop when things get out of control and damage is done to the neighborhood. I gotta say her room is pretty darn cool looking. She has a great imagination and talent to dream big. Don't give up on June just yet, she has discovered the amusement park of her dreams hiding in the woods of long ago.  She has a clan of fun furry friends that ride the rides with her, but lookout trouble is br...
