The long days of Summer have turned to cooler days. We are spending more time inside doing school work, relaxing and filling the house with the fragrances of Autumn.
Today I baked a Carmel Apple Crisp Recipe from Gold Medal ® to take to a Family Reunion. I made two pans of it so we can have one at home. The apples baking with the sweet smell of Carmel on a cool, cloudy day feels like home.
Starting in September Gold Medal ® White Whole Wheat Flour is now available in stores. The flour is made with hard white spring wheat, a whole grain, but it has a similar taste like white flour. The white whole wheat flour is perfect for baking breads, pizza dough, cookies, muffins and brownies.
The flour bakes up golden and has a milder flavor than regular whole wheat flours used in baking.
Now that school bake sales and holiday baking approaching try the new White Whole Wheat Flour from Gold Medal ®.
