Are you ready for The American Bible Challenge?

I watched an episode of The American Bible Challenge and, well, I don't know all the answers? How about you. How well do you know the Bible?  Get ready to find out!

The American Bible Challenge is a new show coming to The Game Show Network and is hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. The Show has earned the Dove World Seal of Approval of the the Parents Television Council seal of approval.

Comedian and author Jeff Foxworthy hosts this studio-based game in which contestants compete based on their knowledge of the Bible.  Utilizing current as well as historical references, questions will be drawn from the rich, dense narrative found in the world's best-selling book.  The contestants will share their compelling back-stories and each team will be playing for a charitable organization.

The show I watched began by learning  a bit about the three groups of players. Each group is playing the game to win money for their charitable organizations. I watched how each group has an organization that helps their community. One group ran a food pantry and was trying to win money for their cause, another group was trying to win money for Samaitian's Purse where the group collects school supplies and such to pack in shoe boxes that are sent around the world to those in need.

The host, Jeff Foxworthy ask questions throughout the show. Some questions are easy, but then they do get a harder to answer. At one point in the show the participants are given a few minutes of study time to quick learn about Women in the Bible, then they return to the show to answer questions about Women in the Bible.

The show also has a choir that sings before each commercial break. If you like church songs, you will really enjoy this show. It is packed with the opportunity to test your knowledge, learn more Bible facts, and listen to a choir sing popular church songs and hymns.

Tune in August 23 at 8/7 central to watch and learn!  Dial into The Game Show Network channel and get ready to see what you know and don't know about the Bible. You can also learn more about the show on the web site:  http://gsntv.com/shows/the-american-bible-challenge/

I know I'll be watching and learning this Fall from watching The American Bible Challenge on Game Show Network. As the weather begins to get colder and the nights become darker sooner, it's a great time to relax inside and watch TV, so put this on your Fall line up.

Disclosure: I received a screener copy to watch in order to write this review. The comments and views are my own.

Giveaway of New Soft Scrub® 4-in-1 Toliet Cleaner to three lucky winners.

Let's talk about cleaning toilets. Hmm, I'd rather not talk about that, or clean them. However, I don't want dirty toilets in our house, so I have to clean all three of them. I'd clean four or five because I really would like two downstairs bathrooms in my next house. We have one powder room on the first floor and two full baths upstairs.I'd like three full baths upstairs. Why in the world would I want to clean all that? Who knows, but having a product that can help out cleaning the three we currently have in my house is greatly appreciated. Soft Scrub ®  is honestly amazing me with their new and improved products. I've learned about them in the past few months from trying them out and writing reviews. My kitchen sink has never shined so much, the bathrooms are cleaner, and now Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care is now here! It is new, it smells nice, and it is so easy to use. Just clip it on the side of the bowl, make sure it is in the flow of water when the toil

Giveaway of Three Copies of Les Misérables on Blu Ray DVD combo Pack

You know that part of a DVD that prompts you to select play, scenes, bonus, set up while bits of the movie play? I did not get past that for several plays through the song "Do you hear the people sing" with  people of France waving their flag, and singing about they will not be slaves again.  The song is so moving, so powerful. It can stir up your the strength within your soul, it can remind you of the freedom of being an American, and it can bring you to tears of sadness, happiness, and joy. Now on to select play: I saw Les Misérables at the preview screening last year and was captivated, motionless in my seat. The DVD has the same effect. You'll be taken back to another place, another time. The cast is perfect, the singing is moving, and the scenery is real old world "Paris". As I watched Les Misérables it's a reminder to myself, a wake up call for us all to be humble, be better. To forgive each other, let go of our egos, help each other at times of need,
