What am I doing so far this Monday Morning on the first day of the 21 day challenge:
I have signed up for Listerine 21 Day Challenge
A donation has been made to help children in need of oral health services from my sign up
I printed a coupon right from their facebook page
I played "My Pet Mouth" and was able to print another coupon.
My Pet Mouth is fun!!! You can adopt a pet and take him/her on the 21 day challenge with you.
Did you know:
There are more germs in your mouth than there are people on earth? (Dentistry Today)
Brushing alone misses 75% of your mouth, so floss daily and rinse twice a day with Listerine UltraClean®.
Oral disease is now the most chronic Childhood illness in the USA (Oral Health in America: A report of the Surgeon General)
Millions of children are suffering and have so much pain it affects their ability to sleep, eat and learn.
Nearly half of American Adults suffer from gum disease which is usually painless, but left untreated it can lead to loss of soft tissue, bone, and teeth. (American Dental Association)
There are as many as 130 Million Americans that lack dental insurance (Medical Expenditure Panel Survey)
More than 51 Million school hours and 164 Million work hours are lost each year due to dental disease, leading to increased educational disparities and decreased productivity

What is my family's challenge?
I use Listerine once daily, my goal is to use it twice daily.
Everyone will be rinsing twice daily with Listerine. There will be a bottle of Listerine in all the bathrooms, even the downstairs one to remind us to rinse.
My least favorite thing is flossing- I'll admit it. I need to work on that. My mouth is small so flossing is not so easy, I am going to try Access® Flosser, regular floss just doesn't get between my teeth.
I'll keep you posted with an update in two weeks just to see how we are doing with our Listerine 21 Day Challenge.
What is your challenge? Brushing, Flossing, Rinsing?
Disclosure: I received products from Johnson and Johnson Helathcare Products Division of McNeil-PPC, Inc. and The Motherhood as part of my participation in the Listerine® 21 Day Challenge. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
