This morning I headed over the Delaware River to Pennsylvania for a gigantic consignment sale at the Greater Philly Expo Center in Oaks. The sale preview date was today and many thanks to Real Mom Media I was there for the preview day. The sale begins tomorrow 3/14 and runs through Saturday 3/16. Saturday is the half price day. The prices are so low, don't wait until the half price day because the sale attracts a lot of bargain shoppers.
The sale features children's items such as clothing, shoes, toys, books, puzzles, DVD, CD, strollers, play houses, doll houses, maternity wear, bikes, infant needs, Easter Baskets, things to put in the Easter baskets, swim wear, swim ades, ride on cars, Melissa and Doug brand new items and much more!
JBF of Western Main Line (Oaks) accepts consignors who want to sell new and gently used chldrens' and maternity items. They price and tag their own items. Consignors earn 60% of their sales and 70% if they volunteer to help with the sale.
You will find bargains on items in great shape, new items, and furniture, baby equipment electronics and such a variety to shop from. The sale accepts cash and credit cards. The sale does not allow carts, but offer you a blue tote bag to shop with. You many bring your own laundry basket or tote to fill up as you shop. Check out is easy, the sales person will scan your items and give you a detailed receipt after your payment is made. Each item is tagged with a price so you will know the price before getting to the register.
Wear comfy shoes, get there early, eat something before you get there so your not famished. I found Melissa and Doug coloring books-brand new for only $4 each, Melissa and Doug swim toy for $6, and a Fisher Price toy for $7. All items are brand new still in the package. I found that the prices are low even on new items. Everything is clean, in great shape, clothes are on hangers, baby blankets are folded and are in packages. It's very organized and clean.
Just Between Friends was started in 1977 and has grown into a nationwide franchise in 25 states and is expected to sell more than 25 million in merchandise in 2013. It has received numerous awards, attention and has been on numerous national television shows. Find out more here: facebook.com/jbfphilly or Jbfsale.com
