Rabbit Rabbit's long awaited debut Rabbit Rabbit Radio Volume I is out now. The band is made up of critically acclaimed artist Carla Kihlstedt (Tin Hat Trio, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, 2 Foot Yard, The Book of Knots) and husband Matthias Bossi (Skeleton Key, The Book of Knots, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
“Writing songs is the art of putting a frame around a story.” Kihlstedt notes. “We try to be faithful to what each story needs rather than being faithful to a particular style or genre.” Bossi adds that “we draw on our love of classical music and all of its intricacy and detail. We revel in the simplicity of a backbeat with blocky chords. We nerd out to prog-rock. We swoon over melody-masters Bacharach and Bowie. And we execute it all on a carefully selected acoustic sound palate.”
Volume 1 is the product of a year’s writing. The songs were recorded at Kihlstedt and Bossi’s home studio in Cape Cod, Evans’ Brick Hill Studio and Hamilton’s Studio G in Brooklyn. In early 2012, Kihlstedt and Bossi launched their audio/video subscription service, Rabbit Rabbit Radio. With these songs now available to the general public for the first time, Kihlstedt and Bossi plan to take Rabbit Rabbit on the road this summer; tour dates will be announced shortly.

It's pretty interesting and a cool concept in listening to music!

The music is crisp, fresh, light and easy to feel the grove. Carla and Matthias have beautiful voices and sound lovely together. Listen for yourself and feel inspired.
