Marine life comes alive on Coney Island Beach this Saturday in the Sand Sculpting Contest. Enjoy the day of fun, food, music, and life like sea animals.
Summer fun is still here! This Weekend on Saturday August 17, 2013 from noon until 5 PM, the New York Aquarium will hold it's 23rd annual Coney Island Sand Sculpting Contest.
Head to the beach and boardwalk from West 10th to West 12th Streets.
Professional sand sculptors will be on-site to create amazing artistic sculptures from 50 massive mounds of sand, including marine animals such as dolphins, sharks and more.
There will be live music, food, and fun for the family!
