College bound high school seniors in the Philadelphia region can apply now for Ronald McDonald House Charities scholarships
· RMHC® Scholars for high school seniors of all backgrounds regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
· RMHC®/African American Future Achievers for students with at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage
· RMHC®/Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources (HACER®) for students with at least one parent of Hispanic or Latino heritage
· RMHC®/Asian Students Increasing Achievement (ASIA) for students with at least one parent of Asian-Pacific heritage
Do you know a current high school senior? Have them apply online now through January 21, 2014.
All college-bound high school seniors who meet the eligibility requirements in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Kent and New Castle Counties in Delaware are encouraged to apply and will be asked to submit a high school transcript, a letter of recommendation and a personal statement detailing their background and community involvement.

In 2014, RMHC will award fifty-five (55) scholarships, totaling more than $80,000, to local high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, financial need and plan on attending a two- or four-year college during the next academic year.
