The Little Rascals are at it again. This lively bunch of Sparky, Alfalfa, Mary Ann, Stymie, Petey-the dog, Porky, Darla, and Buckwheat take word meanings a bit to far sometimes. For example when they watch Grandma's bakery while she runs to the bank, the gang takes an order for a cake. In a big bowl they add all kinds of ingredients-whole eggs-shell and all. They add tons of sugar, yeast, and motor oil-they just think any oil is right for cooking. You can imagine how it turns out!
Grandma is played by Doris Roberts who we know as the mom in "Everybody Loves Raymond". She owns the local bakery but is in a bind with the bank and her business. Once this gang of third graders finds out about the bakery trouble the put a plan into action to earn money to keep Grandma's bakery out of the hands of businessman Big Ray (Greg Germann of Here Comes the Boom).
The Little Rascals have an elaborate tree house next to the bakery where they hold band practice. The sound is not pleasing to the ear, but after failed attempts to raise money for Grandma's bakery they hold out Hope to win prize money in the local talent show.
How do you think they did?
The movie opens with the gang on the last day of school and Alfalfa singing to the class. Well, trying to sing. So, winning the talent show might be a stretch! Watch the movie to see if Grandma's bakery can be saved.
The Little Rascals Save The Day is available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD so you can watch it most anywhere on your devices. On March 18, 2014 you can own the movie on Digital HD and The Blu-Ray Combo Pack including Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD with Ultraviolet on April 1, 2014.
