Giveaway: Susie's Hope DVD. Her story of being attacked by an abused dog and healing while helping abused animals.

In this merry month of December the thought of animals out in the cold dark night lends itself to a prayer. I look at our cat cuddled up on his blanket, safe, warm, fed, and healthy.  That's not the case of so many animals. Inside and outside. Susie's Hope film brings attention to animal abuse.  Based on a true story, and also brought about Susie's Law in North Carolina that seeks stricter punishment for animal abusers.

The film shows us the why and how Donna Lawrence found inspiration to helps abused animals. She was attacked by an abused dog she tried to care for, and then, during her healing days, on a walk with a friend they discover a severely abused pit bull-mix puppy that was left for dead in the park. She brought the puppy to the animal hospital, and with funds raised from the community the dog receives intensive treatment and therapy.  Donna and the puppy heal and forgive as they recover. The man that abused Susie was arrested, but at the time, the laws for such crimes were not strict. Now they are thanks to Donna and her friends rallying for a stiffer animal cruelty law in their state of North Carolina.

I watched another of the videos which was so incredibly sad and unbelievable that a person could abuse this puppy,Susie or any animal. It's just beyond comprehension. Each cold dark night say a prayer  for those abused animals and hope someone like Donna can care for them.

About the movie: Run time 105 minutes
Based on the true story that successfully passed Susie’s Law in North Carolina, which seeks stricter punishment for animal abusers,Susie’s Hope brings to life the inspirational relationship between pit bull attack survivor Donna Lawrence and Susie, a pit bull-mix puppy found beaten, burned and left for dead. Recognizing reflect and abuse were to blame for the tragic attack that nearly claimed her life 10 months earlier, Donna resumes the battered animal and accepts her as family. Together, they learn to heal, love and forgive as they lead a historic effort to seek justice and protection, not only for Susie, but all animals. Starring Emmanuelle Vaguer (40 Days and 40 Nights), Burgess Jenkins (Remember The Titans) and Andrea Powell (Ender’s Game, The Twighlight: Breaking Dawn Saga: Part 2), Susie’s Hopeis an incredible story of love, loss and redemption.

About Susie:
Susie was found nearly dead in Greenfield Park in Greensboro, North Carolina on August 20, 2009. Just a puppy, Susie had licked the face of her owner’s newborn baby. Her owner became violent—she was beaten so severely her jaw was broken. That wasn’t enough, though. She was then set on fire and left for dead. Incredibly and against all odds Susie survived. Donna Lawrence adopted her two months later. Susie is now a trained therapy dog and event won the American Humane Association’s American Hero Dog this year!

Giveaway of New Soft Scrub® 4-in-1 Toliet Cleaner to three lucky winners.

Let's talk about cleaning toilets. Hmm, I'd rather not talk about that, or clean them. However, I don't want dirty toilets in our house, so I have to clean all three of them. I'd clean four or five because I really would like two downstairs bathrooms in my next house. We have one powder room on the first floor and two full baths upstairs.I'd like three full baths upstairs. Why in the world would I want to clean all that? Who knows, but having a product that can help out cleaning the three we currently have in my house is greatly appreciated. Soft Scrub ®  is honestly amazing me with their new and improved products. I've learned about them in the past few months from trying them out and writing reviews. My kitchen sink has never shined so much, the bathrooms are cleaner, and now Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care is now here! It is new, it smells nice, and it is so easy to use. Just clip it on the side of the bowl, make sure it is in the flow of water when the toil
