THE TIGER RISING digital code giveaway

The Tiger Rising comes to digital release on February 8, 2022.
Based on The New York Times best-selling book by Kate DiCamillo.

The film is based in rural Northern Florida. I never thought of Florida as rural or even having a Northern part, it just all seems South to me. But, then Florida is full of nature in the water and woodland.

In this story, there is a tiger living in a cage behind a cute retro looking motel in Florida where 12 year old Rob Horton and his Dad live.

My first thought was ok, where did this tiger come from, does someone care for the animal, and why is the tiger in a cage? I wouldn't feel safe if the tiger was roaming the streets of my town, but I also would feel sad the tiger was in a cage, all alone in the forest.

Rob's mother passed away from an illness and he and his father have moved into the motel as their home. His father seems to keep his son at arms length in sharing any emotion at all. Rob of  course misses his mother, but he and his father never talk about her or even cry with sadness that she is not with them.

Rob doesn't get along well at school, the other kids seem to bully him. He finds friendship with the new girl in the class-Sistine.
Both children are missing a parent in their lives. Sistine is waiting for her dad to come to Florida and take her back home to Philadelphia.

The character of Willie Mae works at the motel where Rob and his Dad live.
Willie Mae has words of wisdom that the kids are missing in their family and spiritual life.

When you are troubled, do you tend to seek that one friend that is a bit more religious than you are? Looking for a reason, a way, or understanding of the negative in your life. I'll admit I do. I think that is why Rob and Sistine become friends with Willie Mae.

The tiger lives in a cage, and oh how we, the audience wish him to be free, live in his own habitat, even a zoo. Just not that lonely old cage. Rob and Sistine visit the tiger and realize he should be let out of the cage to be free.
In time Rob and Sistine come to the fact that even though Rob and Sistine are without a mom or dad, the long to be free of the hurt, the pain, and the tears of missing that parent.

Queen Latifah and Dennis Quaid star in this beloved tale based on the New York Times best-selling book by Kate DiCamillo. When 12-year-old Rob Horton (Christian Convery) discovers a caged tiger in the woods near his home, his imagination runs wild and life begins to change in the most unexpected ways. With the help of a wise and mysterious maid, Willie May (Queen Latifah) and the stubborn new girl in school (Madalen Mills), he navigates through childhood memories, heartache, and wondrous adventures in this heartwarming adaptation.

Giveaway of New Soft Scrub® 4-in-1 Toliet Cleaner to three lucky winners.

Let's talk about cleaning toilets. Hmm, I'd rather not talk about that, or clean them. However, I don't want dirty toilets in our house, so I have to clean all three of them. I'd clean four or five because I really would like two downstairs bathrooms in my next house. We have one powder room on the first floor and two full baths upstairs.I'd like three full baths upstairs. Why in the world would I want to clean all that? Who knows, but having a product that can help out cleaning the three we currently have in my house is greatly appreciated. Soft Scrub ®  is honestly amazing me with their new and improved products. I've learned about them in the past few months from trying them out and writing reviews. My kitchen sink has never shined so much, the bathrooms are cleaner, and now Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care is now here! It is new, it smells nice, and it is so easy to use. Just clip it on the side of the bowl, make sure it is in the flow of water when the toil

Giveaway of Three Copies of Les Misérables on Blu Ray DVD combo Pack

You know that part of a DVD that prompts you to select play, scenes, bonus, set up while bits of the movie play? I did not get past that for several plays through the song "Do you hear the people sing" with  people of France waving their flag, and singing about they will not be slaves again.  The song is so moving, so powerful. It can stir up your the strength within your soul, it can remind you of the freedom of being an American, and it can bring you to tears of sadness, happiness, and joy. Now on to select play: I saw Les Misérables at the preview screening last year and was captivated, motionless in my seat. The DVD has the same effect. You'll be taken back to another place, another time. The cast is perfect, the singing is moving, and the scenery is real old world "Paris". As I watched Les Misérables it's a reminder to myself, a wake up call for us all to be humble, be better. To forgive each other, let go of our egos, help each other at times of need,
