Today I've been watching a few cooking shows, something I like to do at holiday time. It's fun to watch what the celebrity chefs and cooks are making for holiday feasts. This Christmas Season " The Heart Of Christmas " is available on DVD.  The film is inspired by the true story of Julie and Austin Locke, and their son Dax. At 15 months old Dax is diagnosed with Leukemia AML M7. Friends wrote letters about the Locke family and sent them to singer Matthew West.  That lead to a song and  that lead to the film. Watching the film I noticed the strength Julie has for her son and others she meets at St. Jude Hospital for Children where Dax receives treatment. The Locke family cherishes all their time together with Dax. You'll see the community come together to make Dax's Christmas extra special. A couple of years ago I discovered something new in Wegmans Food Market Bathroom. What could it be? On the wall in the stall-hey that rhymes-was a dispenser of cute little pink bags for feminine hygiene use. Well, if you know me, then you know I love to try out new things. So I investigated further to find out more about these cute little bags. I wrote down the name of the bags-Scensibles, and went home to research. Turns out you can actually purchase your own box in Wegmans and on Scensibles.com. (they also sell the dispensers and refiles for bathrooms) I ordered a few boxes and handed them over to my girls to use in their bathroom at home. The next year I sent them along to college for the dorm bathroom. I keep a box in all three of our bathrooms. I especially keep a box in the downstairs bathroom for company.
