On June 16, 2018 Grease celebrates it's 40th year since the day the film became famous. The Summer love of Sandy and Johnny...was ending, so they thought until Sandy shows up at Johnny's school. Somewhere around the time of middle school my Grandparents started taking my sister and I to church camps during our Summer Vacation. I don’t think we ever went to the same place twice for whatever reason, but each trip was an adventure and a long car ride...but it was so worth the week at camp. I loved church camp! The crafts, the mess hall with those long green tables, the swimming, the campfires, and campers to be friends with for the week.  During a college Summer break I landed a church camp counselor job in Connecticut. I love New England and this was a dream job.   The church camp story continues to this day, my husband and I bought a cottage at a church camp where his family had attended for generations.  My children have attend this camp since they were born, my second child went there when she was two months old. I love that my kids have grown up at this church camp and that I continue to grow spiritually and in friendships.  I miss my grandparents ...

The song  tittled "Whole Heart" is the first song I listened to on this album. It's easy to listen to and sing along with. The words are clear, meaningful, and tell us that Jesus gave his whole heart for us.  "Almighty God" was the second song I chose to listen to, and that's just it, God is Almighty. People rejoice, hold their heads high and praise God. Our days don't always go as we wish, and there are days we wonder why O God are things not going our way, but we need to praise God for his wisdom and the path he has for us. I've actually been spending the week visiting my mother in the hospital, and as of now I write this from my hotel room. God is Almighty. He knows just what you need and when you need it. The strength of a song to me is a wonderful way to praise God, and to find strength for your body and soul in times of need or praise. Do you remember your dreams? Once in a while something I see during the day sparks that memory of a dream I had the night before but had no memory of it until that spark. I just give it a laugh and say wow, that was weird.
