SEE TWO NEW CLIPS FROM BEAUTY AND THE BEAST before it opens March 17, 2017!

Beauty and The Beast was one of my favorite movies when my daughters were younger in the early 90's.  I love the castle, Mrs. Tea pot and all her friends, and of course chip. They are all family and so enchanting. The will and strength of Belle and the many personalities of Gaston. Beauty and The Beast 2017 looks to be just as awesome and quaint and romantic as the first one. Don't miss it! GIVEAWAY: "When We Last Spoke" A Fireside Texas Novel, Plus DVD.

Just looking at the cover of this book, I imagine I can feel the heat coming from the kitchen as I near the screen door, maybe an afternoon plate of cookies is on the table? When I viewed the trailer I felt comfort like my own family gives me, like memories of sunny, hot days where you just want to be still it's so hot or head to a body of water to cool off. Country life and country living I suppose I long for, not that I grew up in the country, but many a times we visited relatives that lived on a farm and those are special memories with family. The screen doors creaking open and slamming shut, the open windows that let a slight breeze in through the quiet, dark house where everyone was kinda of in slow motion because it was so hot. Those are memories of my grandparents lifestyle, and I miss that. The two sisters in "When we last Spoke" were orphaned as their father went to war, and their mother left them at the grandparents house. Why would their mother leave them in so...

It's golden! New L’Oréal Rosy Tone Moisturizer

Anyone that knows me personally knows I am not much into wearing makeup. No particular reason, just never caught the make up bug. But, skin care-especially facial skin care is for me.  At my 50+ age my fair freckle face is showing dullness, a few wrinkles, and loss of brightness. As a kid I'd did blush a lot, but I think I've outgrown that, so now I need to use some help bringing back that glow. I tried a sample of    L’Oréal Rosy Tone Moisturizer from Vibrant Nation sampling campaign to see if I could find that glow... The gold box is enough to make you feel like something special is in the box! Take a look at what's insid e: Take the top off! Were you a sticker fan as a kid? I was in college, and still am. I loved those rolls of stickers that stationery stores sold. Free ebook UNSHAKEABLE and a giveaway of the book: BLESSINGS OF UNITY, God's Best for our marriages, by Richard T. Case

Being married is awesome, right? I think so. We grow spiritually and emotionally together. And then the kids come along. I remember when our first daughter was born my husband and I both thought we were right about everything and anything baby. And then, we were at odds. Tired, sleepless, and without unity. But... We are both right. It shows we both have the child's best interest at heart. It's love that makes us think we are each right in our own way. How do we find that unity again? It's in the Bible. Marriage also has the gimmes-stuff-material goods. I want. He wants. The kids want. So we buy stuff. Are we happier? Maybe? I feel like too much stuff in the house just adds to the emotion of a family running about the house. I'm not saying don't buy stuff, actually I feel toys and books are essential for children's development. Just don't buy junky stuff-been there. The Blessings of Unity: God's Best for our Marriages , by Richard T. Case discusses keys ...

Halloween at home

With every passing year my decorating style becomes less is best. For me that is. I truly love decorations for any season and holiday. Shopping during holiday time is something I love to do with my girlfriends, and of course there is lunch and girl talk! It is difficult not to buy every holiday decoration I fancy, but my dreams of Airstream travel trailer living are making me downsize the decorations. We don't plan on full time travel trailer living-but the thought of Maine in the Summer is on my list. Back to the decorations: A look at my attempt at downsizing the Halloween decorations in my house, plus having grown kids helps with less over the top decorating every nook and cranny.
