Have you heard about Emily Owens M.D ?  It's a new television show on the CW Network, staring Mamie Gummer. (You might just recognize her because her mom is Meryl Streep) I just watched the pilot and I am hooked on the show already. Emily is an intern at a hospital. She finds that the hospital she is working at is like high school, her fellow interns are like the jocks, the popular girls, and the geeks in a typical high school.  On her first day she meets up with an old high school classmate.  She was not fond of this student in high school, and now she is working with her. The Burlington County Farm Fair ends today! It's a beautiful day today so head out to the fair! www.burlingtoncountyfarmfair.com   Route 206 & Jacksonville-Jobstown Road in Springfield Township, NJ 08022 What you need to know : $10 to park your car, so carpool! No admission to enter the fair. There is food for sale. We ate at the first stand on the left when you enter. It was really good! Pork Roast Sandwiches. There are more food tents, all kinds on yummy smells. Visit the big white tents. In there you will find rows of vendors from county government to local services. Pretty much each table has some giveaways. Pens, Pencils, tote bags, magnets, flashlights and more. (Great way to stock up on school supplies for free) Visit the animal tents, cows, sheep, goats, lamas, chickens, and more. There are amusement rides so bring Cash. It's is good ole Summer Family Fun! DISNEY LAUNCHES “THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN” SOCK DRIVE   Program to Collect New Socks for Needy Families Kicked Off on July 9th Burbank, CA  (July 10, 2012)– The Walt Disney Studios announced today that they worked with Hanes, who is collaborating with the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM), to launch “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” Sock Drive on July 9, 2012, aimed at providing new socks for families in need across the U.S. People are asked to take new pairs of socks to any of the community drop-off locations nationwide between July 9 and September 3, 2012. Besides the community locations, people may also drop off socks at Carmike and Marcus theaters in their communities. Hanes will be standing by to match donations up to 10,000 pairs of socks.
