If you plan on going:

a few tips I learned:

leave early to get to the start of the show.
It's crowded so leave extra time to get to the show.
wear cool clothes
wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
keep hydrated. bring or buy H20.
Visit the vendors all up and down the boardwalk
Visit the displays and exhibits on the boardwalk
Take along cash to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs
It is loud, bring earplugs if you are sensitive to loud noises
