Intro: I am on a hunt for things in my home that are made in the USA.
Each day I will try to post an item or two from my house.
Why? To support companies that are in my country.
Take a second and look at the product or item you are using and see where it is made.
Today when I was putting away the clean laundry I started thinking about my clothing.
I can safely say most of my newer clothing is not made in America.
Today I am wearing an Eddie Bauer sweater, a Gap Shirt, Ralph Lauren socks and jeans. Made by American brands, but not in America. I used to have a good amount of clothing made in USA, but after getting married and having kids I donated it to Goodwill. Another one of those times I wish I had kept something.
Well anyway, here are the made in USA treasures I had left in my closet:
This Woolrich Coat made in Woolrich, Pennsylvania where they are still in operation.
Look for made in USA clothing when shopping at Woolrich.
L.L. Bean clothing and Boat and Totes. L.L. Bean is still making quality clothing.
Look for the made in USA labels when shopping at L.L.Bean.
Eddie Bauer sweater, this company is still in business.
Look for clothing made in USA when shopping at Eddie Bauer.
These shirts are old, like from school years. Most of the shirts were bought at factory outlets for Brooks Brothers or at David Crystal Outlet which was part of the Lacoste Izod brand. Not like factory outlets today, but the mill where the shirts were made.
These brands are still in business.
Look for clothing and accessories made in USA when shopping at Brooks Brothers and Lacoste.
These American companies make quality clothing and accessories so I still shop there, but I always read the label and then make a decision if I want to purchase the item.
