The past few days I've been doing Christmas shopping, in stores, not online, but waiting on line.  I've seen some empty shelves and floor space where Christmas decorations and gifts to buy have already been purchased. Are stores running out of things to sell for this Holiday season?  I didn't have a list in hand or in my head of what I was looking for on those shopping days, but i had the thought of finding something special, maybe even something that means a great deal to me about Christmas. Maybe that something wasn't a thing, maybe it was a feeling I'd been looking for. What better way to find calm, peace, joy, thanks, and gratitude for what blessing this life has given to us by the Lord. The three journals pictured here have strong and sturdy covers and pages. After all a journal might be something you take with you on your travels or pick up frequently in your own home. A time for reflection, a time for peace, a time for you . The titles of the three ...

Did you know that SGT. STUBBY is the most decorated war dog in history?  A dog, A war, how did I miss this great story?  This film is based on a true story, the story of Sargent Stubby and how this little dog went from a street dog to being taken in by Private First Class Robert Conroy of the  102 nd  Infantry Regiment, 26 th  “Yankee” Division of World War 1. In France, Stubby saw frontline action in four offensives and 17 battles. He found wounded soldiers , saved an entire company by alerting the men to don gas masks and even caught a German spy.   After the recapture of Château-Thierry, the women of the town made him an embroidered jacket that would serve as Stubby’s uniform and display his numerous awards throughout the rest of his career. Returning home to a hero’s welcome, Stubby and Conroy toured the country leading victory parades and met three sitting U.S. presidents, among other honors. Genre:   Animated/Famil...

Will you and your family be traveling over the river and through the woods this holiday season? Take SMALL FOOT along for the car ride. Let the kids enjoy the film as you travel through the Winter time visiting relatives and friends for the holidays. No matter what type of transportation you'll be using; pack the portable DVD player, download the movie, or the ever ready player in the car. Each holiday season I  made sure my kids had a new DVD for the car ride to their Grandparents house on Christmas Day. A new film to capture their attention on a special day off to visit the relatives, because you know the Mom, that would be me, I'm usually a tad stressed about packing the car with everything we might, and I mean might need for the trip. So, what better than a new DVD to enjoy. SMALL FOOT is now available for Digital Download and on December 11 SMALL FOOT will be available to purchase where ever you buy DVD/BLU_RAY.  Run time is about 1 hour and 50 minutes. Me...

These three journals from Ellie Claire pictured below are in my opinion extremely beautiful and sturdy. The covers are textured, inspiring, and well designed. There is an elastic strap on the binding of the journal for you to keep your favorite pen or pencil as you wish for always having a writing instrument with the journal.   I know if I was browsing the book store waiting on my daughter to select her books, I'd be attracted to the covers of these journals and have to pick them up and look them over. It would be hard to choose one to purchase. I'd buy all three and tell myself I'll give them as gifts, knowing in the back of my mind I'm keeping all three! yep.  Faith & Lettering ,  The Illustrated Word , and  Illuminate Your Story . I'm particular to certain brands of pens. Funny thing is my most favorite brand is one I received as a high school graduation present as a pen and pencil set. I still have part of the set, and since then have purchased ...
